  • Purpose: It serves as a centralized information hub where researchers, faculty, and students can discover and access INFLIBNET's comprehensive suite of scholarly resources, research tools, and academic services.
  • Key Feature 1: Visual display of all INFLIBNET services and resources.
  • Key Feature 2: Clear information on eligibility and access procedures.
  • Key Feature 3: Direct support and guidance from library staff.
  • Key Feature 4: Regular updates on new services and training opportunities.

Research Corner

What is Research Corner?
The Research Corner is a specialized section within the INFLIBNET Corner focused on supporting the research community through access to advanced research tools and platforms.

  • Available Research Tools:
  • Shodhganga: Repository of Indian electronic theses and dissertations.
  • Shodh Chakra: Metadata discovery tool for research scholars.
  • Shodh Shuddhi: Plagiarism detection and prevention service.
  • IRINS: Indian Research Information Network System for tracking research output.
  • Impact: These tools enhance research visibility, ensure academic integrity, and help institutions track and improve their research performance metrics.
Recommended Implementation Facilities
  • 1. Service Information Display

    Create a dedicated display wall with service-wise posters, eligibility details, and “How to Access” steps. Assign a librarian to update content monthly and include contact support information on each display.

  • 2. QR Code-Based Access Points

    Install labeled QR standees at library entrance, reading halls, and departments. Each QR should open a specific service page, and periodic scan analytics should be reviewed to improve placement and visibility.

  • 3. Social Media Engagement Initiative

    Run a monthly “Selfie with INFLIBNET Corner” drive with clear participation guidelines, consent format, and nomination process. Publish selected entries through institute and INFLIBNET channels to increase reach.

  • 4. Information Dissemination Network

    Use a multi-channel communication plan (email circulars, library website notices, WhatsApp/Telegram groups, and orientation sessions). Share quarterly summaries covering new services, training dates, and usage highlights.
